IB Diploma Programme Admission Policy, School Year 2025-2026 

 

Admission Philosophy: 

Platon_iSP Diploma Department is a fast growing and dynamic academic community which provides quality education and seeks to recruit students that will benefit from and thrive in the IB Diploma Programme provided. Our Admission policy is designed to provide students with an inclusive and welcoming environment for all our students regardless of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. The purpose of the Admission policy is to ensure transparency between the school and prospective families.  

 

Application Procedure: 

  • All prospective families are encouraged to apply early. 
  • Prospective students that have completed A Lyceum (10th Grade or equivalent level) have the right to enroll in the Diploma Programme. 
  • Interested families are kindly requested to complete the Registration Application 
  • You can find the application form here 
  • The completed application and respective documentation, as outlined in the form, must be submitted electronically. 
  • Upon completion of the online registration students are required to sit for entry exams in: 
  • Mathematics 
  • English Language and Literature 

 

  • The exams are based on material taught up to A Lyceum of the national system and/or 10th grade equivalent level.  
  • For the students preparation, you can find mock test questions here. 
  • Please note that the exams are compulsory for all students. 

 

  • Three working days after successfully completing the required entrance exams, interviews are set up between families and the Diploma administration.  
  • Notification of a student’s acceptance is given to the parents at the end of three working days. 

 

Required Documents for Admission: 

  • All students accepted in School should provide us the following documents: 

 

  • Photocopy of the identity card and/or passport of the prospective student 
  • A recent photo (passport type) 
  • Progress reports/transcripts of the Third Gymnasium [9th grade] and A Lyceum [10th grade] 
  • Certificate of Equivalence with the A Lyceum of the Greek school (from the Office of Secondary Education) 
  • Certificates of English Language Proficiency 
  • Documents certifying any learning needs (where applicable) 
  • Language certificates other than English, awards, proof of social work and letters of recommendation 
  • Students who wish to pursue visual arts should submit a portfolio of their artwork.
